The suite on the ground floor has been completely refurbished with modern design pieces which blend in effortlessly with the overall 1970s feel. Separate rooms and daybed especially meet the needs of families.

Design
An abundance of American pine creates a welcoming living space, with ample surfaces for writing, working or simply daydreaming. The owners envisioned various uses when restructuring these spaces, thoughtfully selecting accessories such as lamps, for example, but also the fabrics and their colours, to respect the original furnishings and mood of the hotel.
Architecture
The Basic Suite is on the ground floor and consists of a daytime area with sofa, which doubles as a daybed, and a nocturnal area with a spacious double bed. Natural rubber was chosen for the floor in both areas. Two generous windows bring the lakeside park and the mountains directly into the suite.
Two Rooms
With a total 32 m2, divided into two distinct zones, the Basic Suite is especially good for families up to four people. With the daybed, by Argentine-Swiss designer Alfredo Häberli, the living room can be readily transformed into a second bedroom.
A Question of Style
The décor is replete with the tiniest of details which allude to the tastes of the 1970s. The red oxide and mustard yellow hues, or the wall and table lights by the celebrated Italian design house Artemide, are repeated motifs at the Seehotel Ambach. While the playful elegance of these elements is a source of pleasure, they never distract from the essential beauty outside.
The Bathroom
Practical and comfortable, just as a new bathroom should be. Together, the Italian architect Walter Angonese and his clients have succeeded in their new interpretation of Barth, bringing bright ceramic, glass, modern facilities, with here and there a touch of vintage.

- With overnight accommodation incl. breakfast, half-board price per person/day is reduced by €20. Half-board can be booked for individual days also on-site (at €34 instead of €20).
